The story: Teddy Santis, NYC, 2014

Aimé Leon Dore was born in 2014 in NYC by Teddy Santis, a Greek-American creator passionate about vintage sportswear and ivy league preppy. The first flagship opened in Lower East Side. Refined palettes (ecru, navy, burgundy), references to NYC 90s basketball and Yankees. Major collabs: ALD x NB 550 (one of the decade's most iconic sneakers), ALD x Porsche, ALD x Woolrich, ALD x Drake's, ALD x Snow Peak. In 2021, Santis took NB Made in USA creative direction.

Signature aesthetic
