Nike Kobe 8 Protro Mambacita
Advice: take half a size up
The Nike Kobe 8 Protro Mambacita (GS) is a tribute to Gianna "Gigi" Bryant, honoring her impact on basketball and her father's legacy. The white and black butterfly pattern on the durable mesh upper symbolizes Gigi's transformative influence on the game. The colorway, featuring white, metallic gold, and black, reflects the hues of her youth basketball team's uniform. Metallic gold Swoosh logos on the outer side panels and heels, along with gold detailing on the tongue and sockliner, add elegance to the design. The right heel displays "GIGI," her nickname, and the left heel shows "2," her jersey number. Technical features include a carbon fiber shank plate and React foam cushioning in the midsole, enhancing performance. Released on May 1, 2024, the grade school-sized Nike Kobe 8 Protro Mambacita (GS) was priced at $120. This sneaker is a must-have for fans seeking to honor Gigi's legacy and elevate their game.
